Steps for Investing through Shonchoy.com
Provide mandatory information and scanned-copies of documents in due places under the “Your Information” section of your Dashboard.
For executing a one-off investment- please select “Instant Investments” under “Invest Now” section of your Dashboard; For a monthly scheme (recurring) of investments, select “Monthly Scheme (SIP)”
And then, please select one of the types of the investments (or asset-classes) from a) National Sanchayapatra, b) Fixed Deposits in Banks/ NBFIs, c) Listed Shares and d) Open-end Mutual Funds.
Next, you will select a specific instrument under the chosen types of investments. You need to input the investment amount, nomination details etc. and then “Submit” to generate an auto-filled application form for the particular investment. The form will be saved under “Your Forms & Updates” section in the Dashboard.
At this stage, we need your wet-signature on the form, auto-debit instruction and other submitted documents. You can also give a properly crossed-cheque (no cash or cash-cheque) to us so that we can deposit the same to the corresponding financial institution on your behalf. For this- you need to select all the forms you want us to collect, pick your preferred time and address. A Shonchoy.com official will come to your doorstep with the selected form and other documents duly printed for you.
After taking your wet signature and crossed-cheque (or auto-debit instruction for Monthly Scheme), we will submit all the documents to respective financial institutions for their processing and activation. You can track your application easily in the “Your Forms & Updates” section of the Dashboard.
After receiving confirmation from the corresponding financial institutions, we will activate your investment in the “Your Investments” section of the Dashboard- where you can see details of all your live investments.
